The story behind EIFLA

EIFLA was founded by Nigel j Blanchard in 2010, after many years in land, development, investment's and new homes, and continues today alongside that work.

Today EIFLA brings together three services: Land Acquisitions, Land & New Homes for independent / self employed estate agents agents, and 3D Architectural Visualisation.

Land Acquisitions
The land side never went away. I have thirty-five years of buying land across the UK, as Land Director for private residential developers and as Land & Partnerships Director working with Housing Association developers on package deals.

I work with retained clients to source sites for residential development, many of them off-market deals that never reach the open market. For housebuilders and developers, that means a steady pipeline of viable land. For developers and contractors building affordable housing, I source the land, negotiate the price, work with the Associations and put together the package deal offers. That way there’s a buyer for the scheme before you build it.

I also offer a bespoke service for those who are looking for self-build projects. 

Land & New Homes for Independent Agents
Independent and self-employed estate agents regularly come across land and new homes opportunities, like a landowner with a field on the edge of the village or a small builder with a scheme to sell. Many don’t have the specialist knowledge to handle these deals, so the business goes elsewhere.

I act as your in-house Land & New Homes partner. You keep the client relationship, and I bring thirty-five years of experience appraising and selling land, working with housebuilders and marketing new homes. You earn a share of the fee without having to become a land specialist yourself.

Architectural Visualisation
We produce photo-realistic CGIs, 3D video fly-throughs and other 3D services. I’m a qualified 3D artist myself, and I work with a select team of freelance artists. I’ve trained each of them personally to the same eye for detail and finish I demand of my own work. Clients get the consistency and quality of a boutique studio, without being limited by the output of one person.

How it fits together
The three sit together more naturally than they might appear. The land work finds and shapes the sites. The agency partnership helps get them sold, whether as land or as new homes. The visualisation lets buyers see what’s being built before a brick is laid.

The name, though, is the personal part. EIFLA is my son Alfie’s name spelled backwards. Everything built here carries a little of that.
